Stephos, a beautiful black boy of approximately 3 years old, got hit by a car in July in Limassol. I found him in a very bad condition, with complete instability, underweighted, very dehydrated and full of fleas and earmites. He was also unable to walk. I took him to the vet immediately and that's how the journey of his recovery began. The vet did all the necessary examinations, x-rays, blood tests, etc. Fortunately he had no broken bones but had anemia due to fleas. He stayed at the vet for more than 2 weeks, where he received all the necessary treatments and was stabilized. We then did an MRI, as we initially thought that he might had hypoplasia due to his instability, and to check whether any brain damage was caused by the car. The MRI report was clear except from a severe ear infection. He then stayed at a cat hotel for almost 2,5 months, where he received treatment for the ear infection. However, we figured out that he is a special needs cat as he is deaf. During the period that he stayed at the hotel he gained weight (he is now 5kg), he was fully vaccinated and neutered. He is now a healthy boy who can walk properly, he is very sweet and cuddly. He lives with me now temporarily, however I cannot keep him as I have many other cats who don't want him and are very aggressive towards him. I also work many hours and cannot take proper care of him. So we are looking for his forever home, either in Cyprus or abroad. All the necessary costs for his adoption will be covered by me.
